Battle of Merv 1510

 

in 1510, Mughal Shah, who was suppressed by Muhammad Shaybani, asked Shah Ismail for help and swore allegiance to him for a short time, whereupon Shah Ismail advanced towards Merv with the Kizilbash army, killed Shaybani khan and sent his head to Sultan Bayezid 2, While Mughal Shah briefly seized the weakening Bukhara regions, but his reign lasted only briefly in this region and headed back to India, the Kizilbash state conquered most of Turkistan.
